Explore three traditional craft villages on the outskirts of Hanoi, starting with the Ha Thai village, renowned for its Lacquerware production since the 17th century. Next, we journey to the Chuong Conical hat village. We visit this village, meet the local artisans, and learn how to make the product. Lastly, we'll visit the Quang Phu Cau Incense village, which has existed for more than a hundred years. To this day, the village still thrives and has become one of the special beauties that clearly reflects the culture of the countryside.

Ha Thai Lacquer Village
8:45 Start your journey to explore Ha Thai Lacquer Village has more than 200 years of experience in making lacquer products. You will discover the meticulous process of creating a lacquer painting, from selecting materials such as the type of paint, arranging each layer of detail, grinding to reveal intricate patterns. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at creating your own painting. Experience a hands-on workshop decorating lacquer paintings with eggshells and seashells (Experience included; additional charges apply if you would like to purchase the artwork).
Chuong Conical Hat Village
10:30 Continue your journey to Chuong Conical Hat Village. The conical hat is a symbol of the beauty of Vietnamese women. Here, you will witness the craftsmanship involved in making a conical hat, from shaping the frame, arranging the leaves, to painting intricate patterns. You’ll also have the opportunity to try making your own hat and even choose to paint a beautiful one as a souvenir to take home.

Quang Phu Cau Incense Sticks Village
14:00 The final destination for today’s journey is Quang Phu Cau Incense Sticks Village. With a history of hundreds of years, this village is the largest incense-making center in Northern Vietnam. You will have the chance to explore the incense-making process, learn about the significance of incense in Vietnamese culture. And most importantly, take stunning photos with incense sticks decorated like the Vietnam map, the flag, and flowers.
Return to Ha Noi
15:00 Start heading back to Ha Noi.
