9:00 First, you will visit Son Dong Sculpturing Village. A village with a history of hundreds of years, known for its noble craftsmanship in wood carving and the production of handcrafted worship items. Over 80% of the households in the village make a living from this craft. You will learn about the process of painting, carving, and creating intricate statues such as Buddha figures, saints, and worship items in Vietnamese culture, while admiring the skill of the artisans.
10:30 You'll reach Duong Lam Ancient Village, an agricultural haven with a history spanning 1200 years. Immerse yourself in a leisurely walking or cycling tour through the village, contrasting the bustling streets of Hanoi with Duong Lam's serene ambiance. Explore the Mong Phu commune house, constructed in the mid-16th century, traverse narrow alleys to discover the time-honored laterite traditional houses and brick pathways that define this enchanting village. Proceed to Mia Pagoda, nestled in another hamlet of Duong Lam, dating back to the 15th century. Marvel at the 287 statues, including renowned sculptures like the Buddha and the 'Eight Vajra Deities’. Explore the traditional house of the local people.

14:00 Experience traditional handicraft activities at Duong Lam Ancient Village such as painting on coconut bowls or decorating traditional bamboo dragonflies with local artisans
15:30 Exploring Thay Pagoda, also known as Master Pagoda. It is the charming natural scenery with the landscapes looking like the Penglai world. The pagoda is associated with the name of Monk Tu Dao Hanh, who had great success in teaching and healing the locals as well as organized and established wrestling and water puppetry. Thay Pagoda with the beauty of the natural landscapes and the historical, cultural values actually creates a tourist attraction in Hanoi.
