09:00 Your Tour Guide and Driver will warmly welcome you at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City Center. Depart for My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta, while enjoying views of the peaceful countryside and rice fields along the way.
Vinh Trang Pagoda
10:30 Stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Southern Vietnam. Admire its impressive architecture, which harmoniously combines Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer, and European influences. Walk through the peaceful gardens and discover the beautiful Buddha statues that make this pagoda a spiritual and cultural highlight of the Mekong Delta region.
Arrival at My Tho & Mekong River Experience
11:00 Upon arrival at My Tho Pier, board a boat and begin cruising along the Tien River, one of the major branches of the Mekong River. Admire the impressive Rach Mieu Bridge and observe floating fish farms scattered along the riverbanks. Guests will also have the opportunity to feed the fish directly and learn about local aquaculture practices.
Thoi Son Islet
11:30 Continue by boat to Thoi Son Islet, one of the most beautiful islands in the Mekong Delta. Visit a traditional honey bee farm, where you can learn about local honey production while enjoying honey tea and local specialties such as banana wine. You will also have the opportunity to explore tropical fruit gardens filled with seasonal fruits. Guests may pick fresh fruits directly from the garden at their own expense.
Village Experience & Traditional Music
12:30 Travel by electric cart through peaceful village roads surrounded by coconut trees and fruit orchards. Stop at a local garden house to enjoy fresh seasonal fruits while listening to “Don Ca Tai Tu,” the traditional folk music of Southern Vietnam recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Sampan Ride Through Coconut Canals
13:00 Experience a relaxing hand-rowed sampan ride through narrow canals shaded by beautiful water coconut palms. This peaceful journey offers a closer look at the tranquil life of the Mekong Delta countryside.
